Ps the seasonal workers in the grain industry are a few semi retired guys with serious medical conditions in their 50s and grey nomads that do the seasonal work circuit again in their mid to late 50s

All our gardners, handymen and trades people here are booked out permanently and you are lucky if you can get a quote in 1-2 years.
Most of the big projects rely on outside workforces traveling 120 kl from Bendigo to do things like build houses or replace roofs for insurance

So I am also pissed off at our real estate agent for not prioritising people that are selfemployed for the few listings that do become available even though his own son is a self employed handyman . I suppose unemployment income is more reliable to check the form

Families in their 20-30s that migrate here knowing there are no jobs or only seasonal jobs.
There is plenty of work for handymen, gardners, gutter cleaners, cleaners, even tradies but it seems they don’t want to be self motivated to do any manual or light work.
