Ultimately- our findings demonstrate the anticipated harm of “don’t say gay” and anti-CRT laws for marginalized families. We argue age appropriateness is not the real concern of parents given we find evidence of a “moving goal post” with shifting estimates. Read more here: doi.org/10.1177/1948...

Perhaps most concerning, we see that even though dominant parents recognize ISC classrooms would result in more equitable treatment for children of LGBTQ families, they continue to view ISC classrooms as less appropriate (3rd or 8th grade).
