Rode at the Wetlands Park this morning for the first time in 15 years. The improvements to the trails and fruits of the restoration work that’s been done over the years made me so happy!

My students and I made little clay “nuggets” that represent things that make us happy. They are inspired by Deborah Outz of #wildrainbowco. Here are two of my finished nuggets, ready to place around the campus for people to find and take.

We made progress after work today on the raised garden beds in the back yard! It’s hard to garden i the desert, but my fruit trees, herbs, and flowers have been successful enough that I’m taking the plunge into vegetables!

I attended an art opening at the West Sahara library in early March. There were several shows opening all at once, including one with students from my school, but my favorite was the wrestling-themed show that included a live wrestling performance.

When you buy a new irrigation controller and your cats just know that box is really for them!
