Our opponents are disgusting, cruel, and craven. They have real power to do real harm, but they are not inevitable or unstoppable. They are not the majority. We are. And we will defeat them with acts of solidarity small and large in defense of justice and truth. That’s how we win.

And how about demilitarizing state and local law enforcement. I’m very uncomfortable with all the heavy duty military equipment being used by the police.

I visited DC briefly over the weekend. The national guard were just standing around the Metro, doing nothing. It made me uncomfortable and is a huge waste of money. We should never accept this as normal.
