The Metro Central YMCA tree. Non-profit division. Skinny elf gives passerby flashbacks to spinning instructor barking orders. Garland & balls underneath are the pounds gained during & shed after the hols. By epiphany tree bears witness to the resolution rush who crowd the pool lanes briefly. 13/10

Metro Hall tree. Government tree division. Defying provincial attacks, tree stands in the open, a symbol of municipal sovereignty. Snow skirt ready for Santa to bring constitutional reform. Visible cord = municipal transparency in action, our least-secretive level of Gov’t. 14/10
