Today marks 2 years since the horrific attacks on Israel by Hamas terrorists. It will be a deeply difficult day for many. We must: Release the hostages. Stop the bombing. Surge aid into Gaza. Secure a ceasefire and work towards a lasting peace for all Israelis and Palestinians.

I joined the Aphasia Support Cafe in #Kirkheaton for a very powerful session. #Aphasia is a little known condition which affects lots of people, particularly following a stroke. Some really powerful speeches in the House of Lords, concluding 2 days of very good debate. I welcome the additional scrutiny of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill as it passes through Parliament and we are another step closer to giving dying people the choice and dignity they deserve.
