Cranky liberal lawyer, science nerd, dog lover, all of which pale beside “grandmother”.
You must be really tiny.

As an APA, I tried 17 cases to verdict, including three capital cases, which require specialized training above that of a regular APA. I was first seat.

Since then, between 50-60 jury and bench trials.

That slosh in your ear is a slurry of CSF and ego.

So tuck your schmeckie back in now. Ta.

Actually, I’m a litigator, which means I’m a trial lawyer, but thanks for the attempted mansplain.

Now piss off.

A thousand years ago Melvin Belli came to our county to try a case and gave a little lunch lecture.

He said cross should never be more than three questions or you’re doing it wrong.

He was being facetious but as a result I’ve always kept mine brief.

That’s not true. Adam Schiff was a terrific federal prosecutor. Dan Goldman was a federal clerk and an excellent AUSA. Jamie Raskin was a litigator and is a con law expert.

VP Harris was the CA AG.

There are many others.

I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t just yield their time to the litigator or law school prof members.

Do you walk to services? That would be great.

I’m Reform but I’d still walk if it were that close.

I don’t know how old you are, but at 67 I can tell you that freezing on familiar words or phrases occasionally is just part of aging and nothing to worry about.

Remember, if you forget your spouse’s name for a second, that’s regular forgetfulness. If you forget you *have* a spouse, that’s serious.
