What a cutey pie. I hope her bloodwork comes out OK. My Baby had all her teeth removed 3 weeks ago and is doing amazing. She is 17 and has multiple chronic illnesses but they are managed well with medicines.

This coffin-shaped sign just appeared near my home in Edmonton this week. It indicates that a pedestrian was killed by a vehicle here. The purpose of this sign is to raise awareness and increase pedestrian safety. It will be removed in 6 months and then used at another pedestrian casualty spot.

This is the provincial bird of Alberta, the glorious magpie. A member of the crow family, magpies can use tools, recognize their reflection in a mirror, and remember people's faces. And their iridescent blue wings are stunning

This ghost motorcycle appeared in my neighborhood last week. There are 5 ghost bikes in Edmonton, 4 temporary (used for a few weeks at each site and then recycled) and 1 permanent (on Anthony Henday highway and maintained/decorated by the deceased rider's mother)

Massive thunderstorms in Edmonton have put a pause on programming for now. So glad we got to hear 'United Health'. Lightning now and we are on the side of an exposed hill! Yikes!
