I read a lot, talk a lot, and procrastinate A LOT. I am too laidback, but when poked, I will detonate. I like that my beliefs are fluid, but not my values. And, although I value my Canadian identity, I do feel a sense of responsibility to the world itself.
Cool, that should deter hotels from taking bookings from them, because the other guests will voice their displeasure.

Now, instead of showing them how ignorant they are, start showing them photos and videos of faces of people their vote helped to crush - including the distraught faces of people trying to help them, who are also being crushed.
Then, ask them if the result of their vote is satisfactory.
Then post.

If we start talking them up now (providing reliable information, guidance, and convincing them their single vote does make a difference), they should be good and ready in 3 years.

A Rob Reiner face, if possible.

It's looking like the Conservatives are the US's human wave attack.
I guess it circumvents the need to engage in traditional (honourable) melee combat - or any combat, since the intention is to destroy Canada from within.

So much for not playing God.

So, the Trump administration gets to rewrite the hippocratic oath too?

Premier Tim Houston, and buddy of Ford, is on the same destructive page, but he is always left out of the lineup because he is...inconsequential?

I still had my receipts back 5 years, so they had to withdraw their claim. My father-in-law and neighbour didn't, so they had to pay out (again).

In the early 2000s, NSP sent out a mass of missed payment claims. Generally it was 3 years in the past (after a lot of people had destroyed their receipts). And, the amount claimed was around $250, which was easier to pay than to fight.

Apparently, Niagara Falls isn't enough for Doug Ford. He needs to put false eyelashes on it, inject it with botox, and give it a boob job, so it can meet his idea of spectacular.

I taught my kids to be kind and forgiving. They added: and take no shit from miscreants.
They all think Poilievre is nefarious poser.

...that Trump is capable.
December 15, 2025 at 8:40 PM
Still, it needs to be done.
It cannot not go down in the history books that the people failed to speak out against the antidemocratic actions of these corrupt politicians.
December 15, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Because even the Trump administration can no longer pretend.

This person had the potential to be a hero, and because he was given the opportunity to become one, he became one.

So true! I didn't have someone explain this to me on my first go-around, and after 20ish years of participanting in too many battles for too many causes, I hit a wall - hard.
My burnout (crash) took a long, long time to come back from - time I could have used to proactively fight this current mess.

One is work/money related (transportation) and the other is related to work/money and much more (worldwide educational/research information sharing).
Once librarians and educators make their argument on how vital this service actually is, hopefully the federal government will accommodate its need.
