I don't think we can get a Bernie Sanders elected in 2028 but I do believe Pete Buttigieg could be elected President. I worry that we will have to settle for a Democrat who can be elected but I am hopeful there is another Barack Obama out there.

My grandfather was an immigrant and during my 64 years I have known many first generation Americans who made our country better than it was before their arrival. I support legal immigration.

It is interesting for me to learn the only state I have lived in that is planning to restrict SNAP benefits is Texas. All the others, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New York, and even North Carolina, will remain unrestricted, at least for now.
