I took a bag of hand-knitted hats & scarves to my LYS today & was thrilled to see that they have collected 100s of items for unhoused charities. Definitely feels good to contribute like this! (Spun in Ann Arbor, MI) 🧶♥️ #knitsky #charity (I also spent way too much $$$ there today!)

I dreamed about this yarn last night, after blocking my Panorama stole, and that sealed my decision to splurge on a sweater quantity at my LYS this week. Yarn is Acadia by Fiber Co., a luscious blend of wool, alpaca & silk. Hoping tonight's snow storm won't delay my trip to Ann Arbor. #knitsky 🧶

Just finished my 3rd version of the "Close to You" scarf and this is the first time I noticed it called for a picot bind off. 🤪 The 2nd picture is one I took this morning in NW Ohio, our first snow of the season. I'm calling it "The Joy of Overlapping Seasons." Boo on soggy leaves. 😢 #knitsky #snow

This week's #showmeyourknits inspired me to start making hats for charity, something I haven't done for quite a few years. These are the two I made so far this week, modeled by my Vermont teddy bear whose head is too small. These will go to the unhoused in southeast Michigan next month. ♥️ #knitsky
