Unretired Polish-Canadian cat lover nerd now running an independent English-language bookstore in Valencia, Spain.
I really liked the early Scott Adams, and then he went cuckoo … it’s been a very long time (20 years maybe?) since I last looked at his work. Such a shame. I’d didn’t even realize he got as bad as he did.

I absolutely loved this one too!

I run a small independent English-language bookstore in Valencia, Spain. I’d love an easier way to bring in Canadian titles and not have to deal with American distributors who definitely don’t care to stock them. So many great writers waiting to be discovered by European readers.

The Sunlit Man by Brandon Sanderson … it’s been a while since I’ve read any of his (and I have read many) so it has felt like a return to the familiar … a very good feeling.

I’m absolutely loving Emily St John Mandel’s Sea of Tranquility. I lived in Vancouver Island for many years before moving to Spain so it’s lovely to be reminded of its beauty. Love the Easter eggs too 😉

Since I’ve had no power for almost 8 hours now (in Valencia, Spain), I’ve been doing a good job getting through Naomi Klein’s Doppelgänger. Thank goodness for the sun (light) and a comfy couch.
