Too much work and not enough play has made me draw less. Somewhere in my head is a thought that I should draw more from life, but drawing during meetings ends up reduced to doodles or flights of fancy

Next time will choose different coloring style/medium. Not overly happy with how markers work with organic shapes.

When I was just starting to get sick I thought oh well, at least lying around I’ll have more chances to sketch. Now it has taken couple of weeks to start considering putting in effort into that. Health issues really throw you off.

After a longer break of course I pick up something that's outside of my skill range. Still, need to get over my own cringe and record it. Using marketing picture from #royaleinfield as reference.

Experimenting with digital has the side effect of making it easy to abandon work in progress, hence lack of images here 😅

Too much work and not enough time for myself lately
Trying out drawing digitally. Have been sketching since yesterday to get used to not seeing my pen tip directly. But it feels like it can be a good medium to speed up some more tedious tasks.

Doodling during meeting is nice, however detail work and color of I should have left for later. Besides the small paper format that looked so cute in the shelf feels too cramped for architecture sketches. At least for my hand. Not happy with the outcome but hey, that’s also part of learning.

Today I needed a treasure map, so I tried to draw one, rather rudimentary but it has the X that marks the spot 😅

Now this would be a great excercise to shade creases, but I’ll return to that once I have more practice.
