I agree with the your first two points completely Adam respectfully. But to say has the LGBT community ever been singled out and the simple answer is yes. People to this day are still killed all over the world because of it, and even more are living a lie because of backlash from being themselves.

For fans/players/etc that are in the LGBTQ+ community is scary. It’s reminiscent of the actions of certain people during the civil rights movement in the late 60s onwards. It will never be a perfect utopia unfortunately but it so rampant in football. Homophobia like racism will be on the wrong side

What’s the saddest part of this is seeing the nastiness of people which proves why rainbow laces campaign needs to keep happening.
