The original first Hannibal Lechter film, Manhunter, has a scene where a blind character gets to stroke a tiger which is under anaesthetic. It was a real tiger, and a real vet who played the vet. In Red Dragon, a poor remake, in my opinion, that scene, unsurprisingly, wasn't included.

I really didn't take it as that, but I only saw it the once so I couldn't comment if it holds up today. I do hate this trend of remaking films though, they rarely stand up to the original, in my opinion.

You're probably right, I remember seeing it, many years ago. Many films that were good in that era, look very different today. I loved Ace Ventura Pet Detective when it was released but it's truly painful now.

I often find the poll questions quite loaded. Easy to create a narrative that way. Example, recently a survey I did asked lots of questions about who should lead the country. It ended with a choice between Farage or Johnson, no option to launch both of them into the sun!

my own home. Anyone speaking out about the flags online has been invited to leave the area. It breaks my heart that this is being normalised and can only imagine what it is doing to people and families that do not fit the 'white' tick box. That our government and media are complicit is shameful.

I express my views if someone tries to talk up the horrorshow that is unfolding, but I won't do it online, the pile-ons are vile. Where I live flags are appearing on lamp posts all over the place they make feel sick. I'm white English, age 61, lived in this suburb for 40 years and feel unwelcome in

We were on the pilot. It's a brilliant training course. Makes you think and supplies the tools for calculations, and I really enjoyed it. We all can and should do our bit to help mitigate the Climate Emergency 💚
