If you have not played it, this seems like a really good excuse to spread the Famicom Detective Club agenda. While you could play the remakes in either order, and Girl Who Stands Behind is a prequel, I would recommend going in release order and starting with The Missing Heir.

It's very much Air Ride but more, if you want that, get it, if you never played the original, and want a slightly quirkier kart game with the lovable cast of weirdos from Kirby, maybe give it a shot. If you were never a fan of the original, and not just because you couldn't play as Scarfy, maybe not

It's cool to be able to play online, but if you need more content then that, you might wanna skip. It's also a hard sell with so many mascot racing games coming out lately, including Nintendo's own Mario Kart, although tbh, Kirby is one of Nintendo's best series, better than Mario and Sonic tbh.

There's also a very Sakurai-feeling single player mode, with cutscenes that actually kind of are what a lot of really online Kirby fans think the series is like. They are wild. But if you were never impressed by the original, there's probably not much here that would drastically change your mind.

This is pretty much what I would have expected from an Air Ride sequel. It's just the game with more content, more options, more courses, and more characters. I love that I can race as Waddle Dee now, not to mention some of the really fun character choices, like Lololo and Lalala, and Knuckle Joe.

Kirby Air Riders

Certainly not a sequel I had on my Bingo Card, but as someone who loved the original as a kid, and kind of feel like I outgrew it as an adult, I think this is just about what I wanted from a sequel to Air Ride, and I've certainly been having fun with this one.

...you just want classic Indigo, and some Orange Islands episodes being told in a different, slightly raunchier format, you could absolutely do a lot worse.

If you're a big fan of the show, it's a fun little read. It serves as an alternative look at some of the Indigo League stories. They're very disconnected, and they're pretty up-front about how you should watch the show if you want real details, but it's short enough that if you're just interested...

This movie blends the two focus holidays so perfectly. The Christmas magic being undercut by the devious spookiness Halloween leads to so many fun scenes. It's a shame it took me so long to watch this, I feel like the target audience for this. I will probably watch this annually now.

A musical with songs that are whimsical, catchy, or upbeat, but with a creepy, spooky aesthetic in there, painting a really fun blend. And the cast of characters here is so good, Jack Skellington is such a fun protagonist, he's just a guy who feels creatively unfulfilled, looking for inspiration.

While I hadn't seen most of the movies on that list since early childhood, I had actually surprisingly NEVER seen this one, and I was clearly missing out. An amazing stop-motion movie, with such a unique vibe, that the only things that I can think to compare it to are things that came out after this

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas

People often debate if this is a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie, so I watched in November (and then was lazy about posting it), but I watched it as a follow up to playing Kingdom Hearts 1, watching the movies that inspired the levels in that game.
