It has a great variety of realms, cultures and settings in general, going to medieval to that steampunk magitek that I love.
I also like 7 and even the medieval from 4 and 16. They are cool.
But now that I think about it, most worlds would be really awful to live in, huh

Not necessarily bad, but they were very difficult.
I've enjoyed most of the FF7R minigames so far. They're quite fun.
Apparently, there are a lot of minigames in FFX that people dislike too

Look, you saw the disclaimer, I haven't played many games with a lot of minigames other than 7 Remake/Rebirth.
I can see why people complain about them, but I find (most) minigames fun enough

SNES version, GBA and DS. It's a game I can always come back to.
But FF6 is not that far either.

Dark Knight Cecil, Kain and Golbez armors are awesome.
The other games generally don't have much armor, it's more about reinforced clothing.
HM: WoL and Garland armors

Of all the games, I think this one is the least tiring.
FF1-3 are basic overall, may due to the limitations of the time, 4 is gets too crazy, 5 would make a good anime, 7 is confusing (both og and remake); the pacing of 16 isn't good, and don't even get me started on 15.

19 - Cidolfus Telamon
Great character overall, I think my favorite Cid today. He's funny but not goofy, completelly capable and a great leader.
Ralph Ineson did a excelent job giving him life.
HM: Matoya, General Leo and Aranea (The best girl in FFXV)

I think the DS version, specially the voices and cutscenes, gave way more meaning for a bunch of different scenes. The game actually got harder too.
I also must say that I love FF7 Remake/Rebirth and the way the story is more comprehensible now

17 - Clash on the Big Bridge
I can't help but search for every version of this song (Record Keeper version is the best one yet).
HM: All as one, Searching for friends and Valsa di Fantastica (I'm still getting married to the sound of this)

Ifrit is such an iconic esper/summon throughout the games, even if he gets forgotten in the late game, overshadowed by Bahamut.
Meteor is also iconic. Risky but powerful, feels great to use.
HM: Haste, Curaga and Thundaga

I don't have many memories of other bosses. I also liked Ardyn and Gilgamesh in FF7 Rebirth

14 - Rydia (FF4)
Not that I know many summoner characters from the games I've played

My man is a badass Black Mage who wears heavy armor, while also having a badass Dark Dragon summon.
Have you guys seen his Vs. lines in Dissidia? He's awesome!

I wanted to say Lenna, but I don't think she can be considered a White Mage.
Rosa is just not that well-developed in either 4 or After Years

Yeah, I mean the OG Cid, but I must say that I do not dislike him in Rebirth.
He might even be a different character there but, y'know, he makes me laugh so he can get a pass

FF7 Remake & Rebirth made a lot of scenes better. The endings from both FF15 and 16 are great too.
But I vote for the Opera from FF6

I would like Mobius FF more if it didn't had one of the worst gacha systems of all time.

Bluntly stupid and dumb and betrayed Ardyn FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Worst character, period.
I don't know, maybe Hojo is up there too, but at least we love to hate him, there is nothing to love about Aera

He's just THAT MAD y'know, like, DANCING MAD. Fr tho, this man has heavy crimes to answer for.
and honestly, I like Emperor Palamecia

She's the one who gather everyone together when hope was nowhere to be found, hella strong and beautiful
(HM: Clive Rosfield, the gigachad with his Ifrit Trigger)

Especially the DS version - stupidly difficult and boring

It is the goat: every main character is developed in a meaningful way, an Opera in a SNES game, great graphics, from scenario to monsters, every main character has an iconic theme, great story and good pacing. Need I say more?
