For years I sent him on his B-day some Harry Potter candy/misc stuff or Spongebob (another thing of his fancy)
Anyway, he passed a few years ago...
So I get choked up but suppress any sobby since I'm a MAN and traditionally have to tough it...when I see Harry Potter stuff.

IMO the Underground Comix and then the Independent comics movement leading to the 1980s Direct Market boom was better. Just it was the 90s that comics went mainstream. Liefeld caught that wave good.
