Friday 10 October
Annual BLAW stall in the Golden Jubilee Wing Atrium at King's College Hospital from 10am to 3pm.

Saturday 11 October
Annual Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) memorial service at PRUH Chapel, located in the North Wing, level 1, from 2pm.

Tuesday 14 October
Annual BLAW stall at PRUH reception from 10am to 3pm.

Wednesday 15 October
6pm Walk of Light. Meeting point at the Bandstand in Ruskin Park.
7pm Wave of Light will take place after in St Luke's Chapel, 1st Floor Cheyne Wing, King's College Hospital.

📱 New #digital check-in service in the #EmergencyDepartment at King’s College Hospital for patients aged 18+, supports patient care and helps reduce queues.

Upon arrival, patients can quickly and easily provide info about their condition. Support is provided if needed.

👏✨ 14-year-old patient supports #research trial to find new treatment.

A #ClinicalTrial investigating a potential treatment for a rare form of #ALS has enrolled its youngest patient, Kyle Sieniawski, at King’s #MND Care and Research Centre.

A #SexualAssaultReferralCentre is an NHS service offering free, specialist care and support to anyone who has been raped, sexually assaulted or abused.

The Havens at King’s provides care for people raped or sexually assaulted within the last 12 months.

💗Helen Wilson received a #KidneyTransplant from her brother in 2006. But, in 2013, she learned she had a #PolycysticLiver and needed a transplant.

Thanks to a donor family, she got a new liver and a new chance at life.

📸🧡 Earlier this week, Makar, a 10-year-old patient at King's, who suffers with #AcuteLymphoblasticLeukaemia, a rare type of #cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow, was helping to raise awareness of #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth with our Paediatric Oncology Shared Unit team.
