as another video game example, I remember a bug in cyberpunk that caused an npc in a wheelchair to run out of the wheelchair revealed to me just how few people understand mobility aids

like do people really think that the only valid use of a wheelchair is to be confined to it 24/7? apparently so

whatever happens I'll be fine, I have family and connections and more money than I know what to do with despite being on gov assistance. more just worried about everyone else in my building. yeah I think my building would normally be able to weather it longer but there were 2 freak expensive accidents within the like past year or so that significantly ate into their reserves. a sprinkler on the top floor flooded the entire left wing of the building, and then the pipe system broke later.

I agree with this in spirit but I do hope it doesn't last too long and/or the dems can get a good enough concession.

My gov housing apartment building put up a notice that if the shutdown goes beyond november there will be temporary rent increases, and most likely worse if it goes into next year.

yeah my mom used to post clips of stephen crowder clips. even nowadays anytime politics comes up she spouts some random conspiracy theory from shows like that.

I find a lot of resistlib stuff cringey but I would absolutely rather my parents be that than racist anti-vaxxers, lol
