I did one of these on Twitter, so it only makes sense to plug myself here. My name is Peter and I've been writing in the games industry for various outlets since 2016. I've had the honor of attending various conventions including PAX and E3, and I love doing interviews with devs about their games.

I still don't understand how this didn't get a Blu-Ray right after Michelle Yeoh won a fucking Oscar.

For some, I imagine the answer is that they don't know of any other platform.

This has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard come out of a politician’s mouth. How can you destroy antifa when it’s not even a group? What, exactly, makes being anti-facist terrorism?

Didn’t they already do a similar idea in the DLC for 4? I remember playing “Freedom Cry” and thinking it would be neat as a full game.

The MLK Jr clip makes me want to purge humanity.

I'd rather have Pikmin 5 with a free update for Pikmin 4 so the game runs in 4K. We don't need a bespoke Switch 2 edition.

He's also a superfan of being a fucking creep that preys on underage girls.

I think after 1995, John Carpenter kind of falls off. His early 90s stuff is also not as good, but his 80s run is legendary. I cut him some slack because he was on fire during that period.

I think in terms of action choreography, Tom Yum Goong is probably Jaa's best. In terms of pacing and story, though, this is a step down from Ong-Bak. Ong-Bak is a lot more focused and gets to the point quicker.

No, it will not. Dubbing is fundamentally a different experience from listening to a film in its original language. I understand and appreciate that dubs open up movies to wider audiences, but autotranslation for everything is not the answer.

I can't with Escape from LA, haha.

Yes, you can, haha. I had setup some launcher that let me specify with PWAD to use, but you can just drag both the Doom 2 WAD and the MyHouse WAD onto the GZDoom exe and you're golden.

The Series S basically is nothing, lol.

I don’t believe so. If buying the digital Switch 2 version gives you the Switch 1 version as well, then maybe.

I didn’t like it as a kid, but I haven’t played the game in almost 30 years. I remember it being ambitious.

Atomic Heart is pretty lousy. Great soundtrack, though.
kingsigy.bsky.social
You'd be surprised, lol.

Considering Bud Lite is still selling well, I don't know what this even means.

There's three separate versions of Rocky Horror on the 4K disc, but nothing different about the film. I have no idea why Fox encoded it this way, but whatever. It looks great.

This isn’t entirely new, even if it has seven extra minutes not seen before. I hope it’s an actual 4K restoration and not just bits cobbled together, but we’ll find out in a few months.

The second Tron film was alluding to that outcome. I’m not sure why Disney thinks Tron is something that needs to be a franchise.
kingsigy.bsky.social
That would be something, but I don’t know if all of the original elements still exist. There’s some primitive CG in a couple of scenes that would need to be re-rendered and such.

The Don Quixote sequel is fucking weird.
