I see some potential with mobility (situational and hardly quantifiable) and maybe extra durability. Plus Ammo supply bubble. But the key reason I think is when you are showing the game to public. Which other game allows you to fight with hovering trains and shoot from carriages with artillery? :)

I planned to use Newhaven Forward Garrison detached carriages to hold objectives. Mixes results due to one being destroyed in one salvo with infantry still inside (no bailout keyword). I still believe it is sound tactics unless the objective is in the building).

Flatbed with Armstrong artillery was more anecdotal. Maybe it is efficient pointwise but the terrain was dense, weaken shots to sides were not too effective and on bigger games I prefer at least reinforced size units for dealing damage (unless they have “devastating” for example).

Durango was great anti-air defense shooting down Malinois Interdictor in second round and later some baloon snipers. I did surprising ammount of “ramming” with Lakotas… not sure if it was the right thing to do but it was typically choice between 11-14 dice impact or 8 dice arc.

Maybe the red one? 😉 I did my Word Beares with Vallejo Burnt Red, but thats a very brownish red and not a contrast paint.

Thanks. I haven’t seen that yet. I guess I should. But I remember liking similar scheme (green/brown) when the wood elves came out long time ago in old WH fantasy battles. At that time I was tempted to try it somewhere. This was a good opportunity.

And the guys at the back are Lucha Libre halfling team I want to play this season. I just have to make myself to paint them all.

I have a feeling I am missing some reference here. Did you mean the Avatar franchise? My guys are ordinary Empire from Armoured clash, probably lacking in cultural education :)
