We ran the clinical experiment of only vaccinating children for hepatitis whose mothers tested positive when the vaccine was introduced and the resulting evidence VERY CLEARLY demonstrated that it was MUCH more effective, with minimal additional risk, to vaccinate all children. Thus the guideline.

I’m in Geneva for the 25th anniversary celebration for MMV. It has been really wonderful to see so many friends (and make a few new ones) from a long mutual journey. Rarely do we have so much impact directly from our science!
