WY lawmakers again failed to finally ban forms of motorized over-snow hunting (aka killing wolves + coyotes w/ snowmobiles). The concept appeared 2x on a proposed topics list but was never considered by the Legislature.

Cmte members ranked their priorities + this never made the top. Appalling.
Ban on chasing, striking Wyoming’s wildlife with snowmobiles rejected, again, by legislative committee - WyoFile
Despite two nominations as an interim topic, lawmakers will not be studying the practice of running over predators — a tactic livestock producers say they need.

Um.... what?!

Doug Burgum + DOI decided to celebrate #EndangeredSpeciesDay by asking the public to suggest environmental rules to ax. The request comes as the Trump admin is prioritizing energy + deregulation at the expense of the American public + American wildlife.

The change means that wolf hunting will occur, even though science + history show us that killing wolves doesn't stop livestock attacks.
