It’s the Mitzi plush from Makeship! Murphy and Mitzi are now reunited in plush form! Here’s hoping they don’t cause TOO much mayhem in my home… Mitzi found the peanut butter. I thought I could hide it from her on the top shelf but I should’ve known better. Of course, Mitzi found my sketchbook and took a page for herself. She truly is a wonderful artist!

A few weeks ago, I made a fanmade #mysingingmonsters Monster named Bakerina for @jazzberrymedia.bsky.social's Sweetheart Symphony collab, and just a couple hours ago, it was revealed she got in!

Here's the original drawings, Jazzberry's redesign, and some extra notes about her creation and lore!
The original final design of Bakerina! She has the Elements of Magic, Frost, Insect, and Candy, and she plays the celestica by pressing in the segments on her dress. BAKERINA - Design Notes - Boss of Candy Element - Baker/Patissier - Dress made of white chocolate - Presses dress segments to make celestica notes - Built-in oven mitts (waffle cone texture) - Strawberry cream hair - Pink candy-stripe apron w/heart motif - Licorice arms - Fittingly sweet & caring personality Below are test drawings of her oven mitt hand, her dress, her licorice arm, a bar of white chocolate, and her head. Bottom left is a test drawing of Bakerina's full design. Bottom right are three little personality sketches. From top to bottom: - Bakerina tapping her dress and playing music. - Bakerina from a side angle, noticing something in the direction of the viewer. - Bakerina holding a pie and saying "Anyone hungry?" in Monsterous. Top right is color palette: white, beige, pink, light blue, and black. Jazzberry's redesign of Bakerina. Noticeable differences include: - Her hair is bigger and has pink, white, and blue stripes instead of just pink stripes. - Her right eye is visible under her hair. - She has some markings on her face: pink spots on her cheek and a blue circle around her eye. - Her body is now entirely licorice instead of just her arms and legs. - Her apron is white instead of pink, though the heart is still pink. - She now has a cute ribbon around her waist, the same colors as her hair. - Her dress is now 5x4 segments instead of 4x3, and the segments are less beveled. - The waffle cone texture on her hands and feet are now absent. - She's holding a tray of cupcakes. Bakerina Fun Fax :D - I fully designed her and made her sound in the span of a couple of hours after the Sweetheart Symphony trailer dropped. All I had to go off of was “dress made of chocolate that makes celestica notes when she presses it”. - I think she might be the most heavily redesigned Monster of the ones that got in? Either her or Wackie. - Bakerina (aka Bakie) is the Boss of Candy Island. Though it looks whimsical, Candy Island is actually a rather dangerous location, hence why she’s the only Monster that actually lives there (though the others visit to sing and/or chat with her frequently, and vice versa). - As her name suggests, Bakerina is well-known as an expert baker and patissier. She’s always making sweet snacks for her fellow Monsters and experimenting with new recipes in her house on Candy Island. - Some of her most notable treats include her Frost-frosted cupcakes, her cookies ‘n cream chocolate bark, and her “Ultra-Candy Pie”, which she’s never actually made because she’s saving it for “the perfect occasion”. - What less people know is that besides baking, she’s also interested in dancing (the “-rina” in her name is derived from “ballerina”)! She often dances while baking or singing, but her skills in this area are, dare I say… half-baked. It’s still something she wants to work towards improving. - Bakerina is friendly, caring, and aptly sweet at almost all times, but she’s said to get real scary when she’s upset at someone, so stay on her good side! (Not that that’s hard. Just don’t trash talk her food and you’re good.)

Speaking of, here is that very first win I ever got! I’ll admit I kinda just got lucky, but whatever xd

It’s Murphy! Er, the Makeship Murphy plush. Just… sitting on my chair. Murphy lined up with some of my other plushies. Kirby, Kevin (the Oshawott), and GD Colon. Don’t worry, they’re all getting along well! Murphy wearing headphones and watching his own series on my laptop. How do I explain to him that someone on the internet has been making animations of his daily adventures? Murphy took some coloured pencils and drew his logo in my sketchbook. What a talented little scamp!
