There’s something to be said for depth rather than breadth of knowledge. Some of the greatest minds in history had like, 5 books. Let’s go back to hand copying and illuminated manuscripts.

Y’ALL this is super important - I’m rereading LotR and realized that Rohirrim poetry doesn’t rhyme!! It’s alliterative like Anglo-Saxon poetry. Elvish poetry rhymes, and hobbits and Gondorians (with more Elven cultural influence) write rhyming verse as well. #lordoftherings #oldenglish #poetry #lotr
