#MovieReview: #TheSmashingMachine: The film is pretty entertaining and Johnson & Blunt are both very good in this. That said, once it concluded, I felt bewildered that anyone thought that this story needed to be a major motion picture. The actors make this film compelling — not the story. #Filmsky

That's cool! Certain songs and albums are sentimental to us as they're tied to memories from years ago. I'm personally sentimental towards Asylum. I discovered that KISS took their makeup off when I went to the record store and Lick It Up was unexpectedly staring back at me in the KISS bin. 😲

I became more of a LIU skipper as years went on as I grew tired of it, but also because it doesn't really match the vibe of the rest of the album. That said, I did enjoy the live version in the later years when they jazzed it up with lasers and the "You Won't Get Fooled Again" middle part.

Agreed. It's easy to watch the video and think unkindly of them for ignoring it, but if someone isn't aware of the signal or doesn't understand its meaning then then they don't know what they're ignoring. Odds are probably greater that a younger woman would be more aware of this than an older man.

I don't have an answer for you on that. Everyone should follow their gut on this. It could be to just to call for help.

The main point is if you are ever one of the people who are nudged and flashed the signal, you'd now be aware of what it means and not just ignore it due to ignorance.

We used to believe that as long as we have the facts on our side that the American people will be with us, but truth doesn't even matter to a lot of Americans anymore. If it did, we wouldn't be in the predicament that we're in right now.

Republicans would never do that, but even if they did, they would still brazenly lie about it because the base of their party only consumes alternative news with alternative facts that supports all of their lies.

That's great! I guess because it originated in 2020 that a lot of people just haven't been exposed to it yet. It would be nice if more governments mandated that it put in public places so people would see it. And maybe it should be taught in schools as well.

It was new to me and it really affected me when I saw it. I'm glad that others have found my post and are sharing it. I felt like even if just one person became enlightened by watching it then it was worth me posting it.

I remember being really happy to see KISS back in all black again, but sadly this was not the Revenge era just yet. The "(You Make Me) Rock Hard" follow-up video would quickly undo the stylistic progress that was made. Anyhow, I do like this tune. 3-stars is about right. ✖️

Given the development in Chapter 2, it seems that Chapter 3 will likely be the end. The original w/ Tyler & Speedman is great! Apparently this is not a remake, reboot or even a prequel, but a relaunch. Weird! Cat & mouse is fun, but CGI boar & mouse? 🐁 🐗 🤔

Anyhow, now I HAVE to see Ch. 3. 🫤
