If ICE weren't hurting so many people the stories coming out about how ridiculously bad they are at their jobs would be funnier.
Although I still laughed pretty hard at the one who jumped into someone's car and then was apparently terrified that they drove him to the police station.

"Oh yeah that's definitely a problem and we don't have an answer for any of it but it's going to happen anyway so you might as well get on board."

It's not the healthiest, but an effective way to keep me off social media is for me to angrily post something and then I'm scared to open that app for a while in case someone yells back.

I think we as a society need to have a rule that if your story fits in a single post of 500 characters or less (i.e. Twitter, Threads, Bluesky...) it does not need a TDLR, even if what you're saying is really boring.

I don't take too much comfort in seeing posts about people's MAGA relatives regretting their votes, because I think that's what showed in 2020... and 2024 still happened. People love to blame a sitting president for everything and are happy to retcon it once they're out of office.

Apparently a hot take that I have is that baking does not actually require more precision than cooking? I seem to run into a lot of people that use to explain why they don't like baking.

I keep seeing people talking about "Well what if Clinton is in the Epstein files?" as a gotcha question (usually with the response we don't care, prosecute them all) but like .. you really think Trump would withhold anything that had dirt on the Clinton's?

Very annoying to finally catch up a bit on my too long to do list and realize that it's not just that I don't have time - I also actually don't really want to do some of these things (I want them some, I just don't want to do them).
