Trading a player mid-game is so disrespectful and tactless. He's focusing on the game, he's with his teammates, and he's on live, international camera. Moments like that are great reminders of how cruel and uncaring the NHL overlords are. Smh

McCowan didn't suck as bad as people are saying tho fr not even close. Yeah he made one mess-up that cost the team big time when they really needed it, but the problem was that the team wasn't stacked properly to prevent those tiny mistakes from leading to a QF loss.

Omggg I just learned from a TSN segment that its actually the norm for juniors players to skate at 85% speed!!! I wasn't just talking out my ass!! But this championship was too high level for that, and players elsewhere are getting too good for kkkanada to be doing that, and it cost them big time
There's been like 3 periods this entire tourney that team kkkanada *hasn't* seemed like they've been playing in slomo. And 2/3 were the first 2 periods of that first game against Finland

There are so many individually good players on this team but they do not mesh well at all, and they're all terrified of an offensive game. Pirelli will prolly end up on the Bruins or the Panthers tho bc at least that kid squares up lol
