Yep, it's horrid.

It's happening all over, Manchester's Canal Street is like spot the straight guy amongst all the hen parties over some weekends. Can see before long a breakaway of queer venues away from the 'traditional' spots and a shift of where the Gay Village is, or what it is perceived to be by the community.

The homogeneous future that's closer than we'd care to admit. Iconic venues disappearing, Developers and Councils want LGBTQ+ spaces to be money spinning capitalist attractions, not community or minority safe spaces... 'Bog standard gastro pub with a pride flag' sort of says it all really.

As in, I'm sure it resembles the LNWR fan window at Buxton, but the stonework looks a lot darker than I remember it being...

It looks very much like somewhere not all that far from me, but the colour of the brickwork is throwing me...

The one I like more that's further away. 6 mins is neither here or there and makes no impact on my life. Better living space does.

It's weird how that's the first thing people ask. When I say I (try and) manage disruption in the event of line blocks and incidents, it's almost always followed with something along the lines of "like when people get hit?" 😐
