Perhaps you could think about how feeling shame for something that doesn't harm anyone else and that makes you happy is unproductive and makes your life more difficult for no tangible reason? Likely, you wouldn't want any of your friends to be ashamed of their interests either

Sometimes taking an intentional break can help instead of forcing yourself. Also you can try testing out a new medium or style for a fresh perspective
