It’s talking about alleged specialized services that *are* part of the 988/suicide hotline system, not about Trans Lifeline which, as you said, is independent of the 988 system.

It’s not even official yet. It’s from alleged internal documents where it’s supposedly being considered. From what I can find, nothing is set in stone yet

To anyone confused (reasonably so), what’s allegedly potentially being shut down if leaked budget proposals go through is the suicide hotline’s specialized services for LGBTQ+ people.

It’s *partially* true, if what I’m finding is correct. There’s apparently specialized services for LGBTQ+ people that allegedly would be shut down with leaked budget proposals. I absolutely agree though, how they put it is incredibly misleading.

I joined a discord ttrpg server close to a decade ago… Pretty much everyone I actively socialize with online is from there 🤣
