A crew from Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue was at the location and found the man inside the business after they put on a fire inside the building.
CKFR took the man to St. Michael’s Medical Center, where he was evaluated and released. 2/3

Deputies also found cutting tools in a duffel bag found to belong to the Port Orchard man.
The suspect was booked into the Kitsap County Jail on suspicion of theft, malicious mischief, and a warrant for failure to appear in court on an unrelated charge. 3/4

The suspect was standing by the roadside wearing a headlamp and claimed he was waiting for a friend to drive him to work.
Deputies soon located several hundred feet of wire that someone had just cut down from nearby power poles. 2/4

The homeowners said they had recently purchased the property and had not seen the case containing the explosives before the contractors found it.
An investigation by the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is underway to determine how the explosives came to be on the property. 5/5

The explosive technicians also located blasting caps and other explosive devices.
The EOD team from Bangor took possession of the grenades, which are believed to be military issue. The remainder of the explosives were secured and taken by the WSP bomb squad. 4/5

An explosive ordnance team from Naval Submarine Base Bangor was also called to the scene and Olalla Valley Rd. SE was closed to traffic for public safety.
Ten grenades were found and bomb technicians determined they contained TNT, a powerful explosive. 3/5

Workers immediately called the homeowners who are not living at the residence while the work is underway. The homeowner called 911 to report what was found.

During the altercation, the 15-year-old pulled a knife, stabbing one of the other teens in the chest. After Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, November 13th, they located the 15-year-old suspect and placed him under arrest. 3/4

When the boy arrived at the agreed meeting location at a convenience store in the 3200 block of SE Lund Ave in Port Orchard, he had marijuana but no alcohol. That’s when a fight broke out between all three of the teenagers. 2/4

The man was booked into the Kitsap County Jail, and the weapon was seized. The dog was taken for safekeeping by Kitsap County Animal Control. 4/4
