And let me tell you, as a Norwegian teacher in high school, where I actually teach Knut Hamsun (who was instrumental in the early modernism), all Norwegian high schoolers learn that Knut Hamsun was a Nazi. 80 years on, it's Knut Hamsun, Nazi, Nobel Prize-winning author.
