Prompt engineer and developer of the Japanese language learning app WordSen. https://www.wordsen.com/
One of my favorite memories of Kanazawa Japan is visiting an antique store. After chatting with the owner for a while he asked me if I would like to share some tea in the back. It was so kind and thoughtful. He didn’t speak much English, and I not much Japanese, but it formed a core memory for me.

As a non programmer (or a 'vibe programmer' if you will) I've been using Claude Code to create the bulk of my Japanese language learning app called WordSen. This is what my dev sessions look like a lot. After brainstorming solutions with claude, I let it rip on creating all the actual code itself.

One of the things I absolutely LOVED during my 2 week trip to Japan was walking around and seeing the cool vehicles. Especially the tiny fire trucks and garbage trucks! Adorable かわいい🩷

The worst part of studying Japanese is skipping a few days (….or like a week) and knowing the hell if flashcards that await you in your next session. 😬 ask me how I know lol

Been building an app the past year to solve my problem of having a spaced repetition flashcard system for Japanese that is easier to use than anki. It he core features are 90% built!
