I worked with Ash on Tale of Crows and I can tell you that I've worked with few people who are both as creatively brilliant whilst also caring and compassionate. She's a great communicator (Producer + points lol) & all round a great person to work with - you'd be a fool not to have her on your team!

I'm constantly baffled by how many strategy games get to extremely high levels of presentation polish without, apparently, having been playtested by anyone.

Someone spent a ton of time thinking "What kind of particle effect should I use when an object is destroyed?" and none on "Is this fun?"

Burger Becky, a trans elder in game development, was recently diagnosed with cancer. When she sets up the inevitable fundraiser to help pay for treatment i hope people will consider giving.

The kicker about this is that yous aren't getting any raises, and every year inflation hits without one, you're taking a pay cut. IDK how to change things but somethings got to change otherwise everyones going to end up out on the streets =/
