These changes and progression followed the 2019 Dorset Clinical Services Reviews. Consequently, over 10000 hours of NHS staff time were invested into developing these plans. Could this be a further reason for the toll on NHS staff?

Professor Lee-Ann Fenge has now started to show her own research. She focuses on the important of social work and is a Professor of Social Care in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. She is currently researching the impact Brexit has on social care.

Wainwright is diving into his current research behind osteoarthritis which is funded by the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. Consequently, his clinical trials helped prove that research funding is fundamental into improving the efficiency of the NHS.
