I had to reinstall my OS for the second time this week after a fuse blew earlier, but I got back into my laptop pretty fast and also dinner was incredibly good. I am pleased. I'm gonna puzzle for a bit so I'll still be up at midnight, which I don't give a fuck about personally but my mom does.

Today in accidental routines, I forgot I had a game today, which is fine, but it meant the time after I got up was taken up with killing undead (Kauri's favorite!) instead of preparing my planner and breaking out the new one.

My aunt brought over half a suckling pig and a whole bunch of either beef or pork, I'm not sure, and the freezer has become near unusable. Like I'm very happy we get to have a suckling pig for NYE dinner, don't get me wrong, but this is untenable.

Is there a setting on Mac to keep it from removing the extension of files when I rename them and don't add the extension myself?

I've had this nail polish for some time and granted, who knows when I last used it, but I've never had nail varnish do this kind of carnage. Stop clinging oh my god

I hate so deeply that the most popular tag and therefore the one nearly everyone uses for Heated Rivalry spoilers on tumblr is misspelled rivarly. It makes me furious every time I see it, which is a lot of times.

I don't deserve you guys, thanks so much. I should be sorted for the next few weeks. My mom should be getting help again soon, in January or February at the latest, but I don't super trust it, so I'm trying to be cautious.

Well, today ended up kind of sucking. My mom got the electricity bill and it's fine (well. Ish) but she may have taken or drunk something, which is bad enough on its own but also put my sister in a terrible mood and everything was just. Fraught. Sad.

I know and am happy the M9 animated series tries to distance itself from D&D and be its own thing, but some of these choices are a trip knowing the characters' stats. (And some are hilarious. Magically manifested duplicates. Rolls off the tongue, doesn't it.)

Heater has lost its last element again. The amount of times I've blown all three fuses in varying lengths of time is now up to five, maybe? I'll take it in again. Really should buy a different one but I can't afford that right now.

Progress! I have the edges done but these puzzles only fit on my desk in landscape, so I'm going from the inside out so I don't have to rotate it and crane my head bunch yet.

For a minute there I wanted to go back to bed and now I'm looking at the things I can do like, I want to do all of them? Can't choose one? But they're very much the 'one at a time' kind of things, so I guess I'll go with my original plan and try to finish this puzzle.

I did some work on the jigsaw puzzle I've been not doing for a year and it didn't occur to me until later on that I need to move the pieces and this brand (Educa) does not stick together. Hopefully I can get some cardstock under there to put it all away before I go to bed. (Cats.)

My sister is truly fucking unbelievable, in the worst possible way. There are documents you need to submit in order to ask for financial support from the government, which is my mom's only option given she's 66 and my father fucked us all over so she can't even get a widow's pension.

Took a break to listen to music and do some movement exercise to calm down after my cats both happened. (I pulled out some boxes to see how I can best store some stuff. Big boxes. You can imagine how that went.)

Kind of obsessed with Audrey Hepburn by Maisie Peters. It combines everything I like about Maisie's music with my fondness for folk music and I am in love with it.

My complete Silksong playthrough is over 139 hours, and here I'm almost to the end of Act II having done several things I did in Act III last time in just 23 hours? I'm not speedrunning or anything. It took me an hour yesterday to beat a boss I'd never had trouble with before.
