Day 2: Alpine Punch
I had a strange and unsettling day at work. Whisk me away to a ski-chalet as promised, Alpine Punch. One hopes for Aspen, but gets Boler Mountain in London, ON instead. A caffeine free rooibos with cinnamon, ginger, and almonds. This is perfectly fine. 7.5/10 #221TeaBakerStreet

To be fair, I think part of the acceptance or "well yeah" is due to Anderson. (Dude just keeps popping up in my comprehensive field readings no matter what I do.)

The reviews spanned from factual and useful to increasingly unhinged. (Such as the time my review of Sleigh Ride consisted of me likening it "Demi Moore in a pink taffeta dress in St Elmo's fire." I'm sure I can dig up the link from the dusty bowels of the internet.

That would be Detective Inspector Waffles. (She's pint sized with a black nose.) Professor Pancakes is significantly larger with a pink nose. And also prone to melting in front of the fireplace. They're sisters and share half a brain between the two of them.

She is hands down the dumbest and most annoying of the five cats we've had but I'll be damned if she doesn't have the softest beans.

I wrote a brief (bad) paper on how the different iterations of dnd treat gender and if I remember correctly the 1st edition had limits on how strong female characters could be and early Dragon magazine articles discussing the proto-rules for it mentioning "beauty/comeliness." 🙃

Yeah, I've seen the videos on tiktok and they're fun! I just sort of hate the internet tendency to shit on anything that seems earnest.
