This should be your bible. Your handbook of what to look out for. And when you tell someone to leave your home - they better fucking GO.

He isn’t grounded in any kind of logical reality beyond hoping back and forth between vulnerable women’s apartments. He strategizes exactly to the degree he needs to be an asshole for them to want him. He is the worst character ever but I can’t stop reading this book. All women who are lonely -

It’s called “suspending disbelief”
tricked when they read work generated by AI. As books are revealed to have AI assists, they are not as accepting as this book claims and I don’t think would ever support an “author” who clearly had AI change words around but kept essentially the same story. I need to suspend more disbelief. Maybe?

because they can be so good but you have to balance world building, character building, sexual tension.. and this book starts out there. But it reveals just how flat the male characters are and I am moving on. Needs an editor.

talking about the next thing they need to do. She’s basically going through a whole ass trial for him and then also competing for the hand of the human prince with THOSE trials. It’s exhausting. Neither one is redeeming or worthy enough for her to be doing all this. I hate this thing with smuts

She had to have sex with his father, then him, and do it for hours in front of everyone. It’s supposed to be the end all, be all. Except once she passes (he bangs her so hard her pelvis breaks but don’t worry they have instant heal powers they can bestow upon you) he’s all distant and weird again

slowing down my reading to really enjoy them. As I’m walking, they are going at it and he tells her to lean her head back. He moves his face over hers and what I can only describe as “oil sludge” comes out of his mouth and goes in to hers. It’s nasty. I trip over my feet. Still 10/10.
