I’m really happy it helps so many people. DH is diabetic and tried earlier versions before kidney failure but the side effects were not tolerable. I’m a bit concerned that the benefits seem to go away if you stop the med, when so many people have burdensome side effects. I hope they refine the meds.

Recommendations change all the time depending on the agenda (not bad, just different) of the recommenders. Please don’t blame yourself, you are doing the best you can and that is the important part. (I have 4 children and could never keep up with constantly changing recommendations. We do our best.)
