Nothing is more powerful and louder than love. It was one of the great honours of my life to host more than 300 refugees from Gaza today with the ASRC and PARA. We will not be divided, we will not let our hearts be dimmed by fear.

Every family deserves a seat at the table of welcome & dignity. Access to food is a human right. It’s why my mum Sia & I are donating 100% of our profits of all copies sold of our cookbook till Christmas to help Palestinian refugees. Our cookbook is available everywhere!

Q: How much does it cost to be cruel?
A: $430,512 per day
That's the amount the Government is spending per day to warehouse 105 people seeking asylum on Nauru. It's 16X the original contract the Albanese Government signed with US prison company MTC in 2022.

Appalled and disgusted to see this terrorist attack on a synagogue in Manchester on the holiest day for the Jewish community Yom Kippur. A vile act of anti - semitism.

My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones and everyone impacted in the Jewish community.

I’m a fierce critic of Albanese Gov on their failures on refugees but when they show positive leadership it should be encouraged and recognised. Shame on the Coalition for attacking Tony Burke for welcoming newly arrived Palestinian refugees. This is his job, to champion our multiculturalism.

Appalling. US private prisons operator to be paid $790m by the Albanese Government to hold 100 people on Nauru in quiet expansion of contract. A sixteenfold increase in the original contract without public notification raises allegations of ‘gross mismanagement’ www.theguardian.com/world/2025/s...

Alcohol, my male peer group, my footy team losing or getting angry doesn’t ever give me the right to physically hurt any woman, ever. It’s a crime and it’s a choice. Remember that today.

I grew up around lots of alcoholic men, men who were violent and men who disrespected women. I have made a CHOICE not to be one of those men. I’ve worked hard to be better than that. It’s a CHOICE I’ve made.

There is nothing controversial or radical about Treaty in Victoria, the only thing that’s controversial is how far behind we are from our neighbours on having one.

I fully support Treaty in Victoria.

When it comes to Aboriginal communities, cultures and lands, the experts are of course Aboriginal people.

The more this fact is respected and embraced, the more Aboriginal communities will thrive.
