In Northern VA, route 29 is named Robert E Lee highway. Now that his statue was removed from the Capitol, it’s beyond time to rename it! I think proposals to rename it in prior years were voted down but they should now try again.

I live in SC and this state celebrates confederate Memorial Day but in May. I moved here from the DC area a few years ago and was mortified when I found out about it. The state government offices close that day. 😡

Exactly! I have been saying this for months. Nor do they ask the question again to push him for an answer. His behavior to the Bloomberg reporter on his plane over the weekend was awful and not one person stood up for her.

Not only is he crazy and pathetic, the people in the audience seem to be laughing about what he’s saying as if they agree. I don’t think they’re laughing AT him. They are just as pathetic.
