Rivals of Aether 2: There it is, the GOAT. The indie game to surpass it's massive AAA originator of the genre. Smash was my intro to competitive fighting games and dare I say (other than PM) this will be the peak of the platform fighter genre.It's finally a game by and for the passionate community.

Vampire Survivors, ode to castlevania: What a swan song to end this game's IRL saga. To see a huge castlevania fan get the freedom to use all of its ip that inspired him. The fact that it is the first time all Belmonts are in 1 game puts passion into prespective. Must play for any castlevania fan.

Kill Knight: Tight controls, Satisfying as hell combat and sounds, immaculate edgy vibes, what more can you ask for? The perfect way to kill 30 mins.

Balatro: My work breaks have doubled since the mobile release, I still play it at home too even though there's no save sync with steam. You gotta try it to know how good it is.

Animal well: needs no introduction. Deserves all the praise. Simply put, my friends know me as someone who gets lost easily and terrible at puzzles. So to have played a metroidvania about puzzles and no combat for 8 hours straight until the credits should say ALOT.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit: man this is the closest an indie game release felt like bringing a new game from the store and spend a fantastic evening with the boys. Controls like a dream and has as much silly party fun as Mario kart even without items due to the wacky physics and level design.

Echo Point Nova: CS Surf but with accessible control and amazing action packed open world. Made by a dev who truly loves shmoovement. When every moment you are playing makes you feel the coolest you know you are playing something very special.
