It wasn't about us. It was about the airline lobby who didn't want FedEx planes grounded right before Black Friday. Each of those Dems received campaign money from that PAC.

Chuck Schumer knew but made sure he wasn't one of the 8 to vote...to save face. Also, all of them who betrayed us got money from the airline PAC....this wasn't about making life better for Americans...it was about getting FedEx planes in the air before Black Friday.

I really needed to see Dem leadership fight for us. They didn't. I am seriously considering becoming an independent now. America is fucked and gone because of old white men who have no idea how to fight in this moment in history. Just devastated.

I am with you on this. I don't know if I have the fortitude to be kicked in the gut by my own party. I expect it from the MAGAts but not the weak Dems. Devastated today and rethinking being a Dem.

I can't help but look at this as a shameful capitulation. I am so disillusioned with the party and your leadership that I am thinking about changing my registration to an independent.

The 8 senators who betrayed the American people all received campaign money from airline PACs. This was not about the American people....this was about getting flights in the air again. We are so screwed.
