Didn't realize the flash was on. For some reason flash makes the power picture dark, but now the cake is destroyed: eaten & packaged for future devouring. No 2nd shoot🫤. Also, I was aiming for equal cake to filling layers🤷 Not sure what happened🤔, but now I know why I had so much filling left over!

She's done! My 1st decorated cake in about a decade. And my FIRST batch of unbroken buttercream EVER 🎉. This time, it took the 5th & the last try to get a buttercream that didn't need "baker's CPR"😂. Guess practice🧑🏫, having A/c 🧊 and no longer being in California 115° 🥵weather helps! #blackfoodsky

My "problem child" is coming along slowly. Lots of mistakes & imperfections but getting practice along the way. I should have plumbed & evened the edges of the cakes. Filling in the uneven edge took up a batch of buttercream alone b4 the crumb coat. Big waste. Also the batches have different shades🧐

I'd fixed it, AND I could use it w/ a little stir'n right out the frig, nice & smooth! Now, it keeps break'n. I fix, but it's loose & slides. I rechill, rewhip, but it BREAKS again!

I added gelatin to my 3rd batch of IMBC so detailed piping would hold better. But now I think I see little droplets of water or syrup. Should I let the frosting break & reincorporate to make a Korean style or just use it like this. I can't toss it ,🫤

Banana "Muffin" w/ Cranberry Pecan Granola topping. I had only 1 banana. I wanted 2 make a big muffin, but it came out like a small dense banana bread instead. I did forget the milk. It's also my 1st time making granola. I made a lot of mistakes but it was edible & had a nice banana flavor & smell.

Actually, read the definitions. I'm agnostic ATHEIST. There can also be agnostic theist, gnostic theist/ atheist. Believing/ Disbelieving is not the same as KNOWING. I believe there might be an 'after consciousness', not life. Has nothing to do w/ deities/ gods but chemical reactions & cell memory.
