Came third tonight in an all-new quiz in the Jacaranda, the first time I'd been back there since I got fired from there. Although it seems like *everyone* got fired from there. Didn't recognise anybody. Presumably, they all got fired because the place never recovered from firing me.

Put my DJ laptop in for an upgrade today. Cost me a lot more than I expected and will be amazed if I won't be renaming files for six months.

I'm the sort of person who watches Wake Up Dead Man and notices that preachy priest at the beginning looks a lot like that annoying journalist in the first series of Slow Horses. Then I go to IMDB and discover that it is.

Oh my good God. That scene in Stranger Things where Will comes out? That goes on and on? We knew two seasons ago, dude. Also, what's that scene where someone comes out that's not dramatic and everyone's like, 'finally' and, 'yeah, we all knew ages ago.' Was that What We Do in the Shadows?

Worked at the Liverpool game today and I've nothing to report. Apart from the poor Polish kid who got seperated from his dad at the gate, who started crying and then was reunited a bit later. Honestly, it was like a Christmas film.

Just watched Wake Up Dead Man and it's quite the career James Faulkner has had lately, destined to only appear in brief scenes: getting burned to death by dragons in Game of Thrones, murdered in the bath by Gary Oldman in Slow Horses and being Josh Brolin's dead dad here.
Got deployed at the Slow Horses gate for today's game, where I had to deal with another moron who liked standing in doorways. Morons like standing in doorways. It means they can be both inside and out, which somehow pleases morons. And they can also be in the way, which also pleases them.

For reasons, I popped into the Royal Oak in Crosby tonight to see what the layout was, where I was immediately greeted by a bloke who'd obviously been there all day and wanted to know my life story. All pubs seem to have these guys.
