This is my first exposure to this book. I heard it referenced, I didn’t write down where, specifically the part at the very end when a woman breast feeds a starving man. This was a great radio play version, I’d like to listen to the actual audio book.

Hmm, interesting and enjoyable. I can’t think how to express this well…but it told me what it was telling me, which made me wonder if these people would exist in the real world. Made me curious about s Korea & enshitification rebellion.

I really enjoyed this. Wonderfully researched historical fiction weaving multiple inter generational black American characters’ experiences of the upper middle class mid to late 20th century.

1) re: race disparity in the new uncomp uti abx trial. ?lay of the land with sex & race rep in modern trials (+historical)? B/c not clocked on air as odd. 2) guest asking about the cost didn’t get answer, other guest affirmed $$$, host, “not clinically available.”?
