TLDR: You don’t need to be involved in every detail of your organization to BE an essential part of it. If you try and do EVERYTHING, you’ll just end up achieving NOTHING.

The advice to "find a mentor" is great, until you're the most senior product leader in the company. Because at that point, most mentors:
❌ Don’t understand your exact context
❌ Haven’t dealt with the specific board or exec challenges you face
❌ Can’t be there month in, month out

So what does work?
