No view from the summit because cloud, but a really nice hike today.
Gnarled tree trunk roots are perpendicular to the forest floor. A large boulder on the edge of a wide dirt path in the woods. A trail heading into trees hidden in fog. A tree partly hidden in fog behind trees closer to the viewer.

Recently returned from a painting trip to Keeseville. It's such an amazing area.
A moody wall of grey clouds turns bright blue in the distance above a farm and field boarded on the horizon by trees. Clouds and blue sky over Lake Champlain Distant blue Adirondack mountains behind trees and a field with rows of lavender. An active river rushes through Ausable Chasm, a large dead tree trunk wedged above the water between two cliffs/rock formations on the far side of the river.

I really like this shape left on a paper towel when wiping one of my brushes clean. But I also realize it's brown paint which looks like poop.
This is not poop.
Just a nice negative space shape left by brown paint.
I can't have nice things.
